Application planner
Keep every job you apply for in The Bottom in one list — when you applied, when to follow up and what to do next. An AI coach can suggest next steps and draft the follow-up message for each one.
Your applications
Plan your first application
Add a job you have applied for — or one you plan to apply for — and give it a follow-up date. It then shows up under “Up next” on the day you need to act.
- 1Add the job
- 2Set a follow-up date
- 3Ask the AI coach what to do next

How to plan your job applications
Most applications are won or lost after you click “apply”: a timely, polite follow-up and good preparation for the next stage make a real difference. This planner keeps the dates and the next step for every application in one place, so nothing slips while you apply to several jobs in The Bottom at once.
A simple routine
- Add each job when you apply — or before, with the status “Planning to apply” and an “apply by” date.
- Set a follow-up date. A common rule of thumb is to wait about a week after applying before a polite check-in; the quick buttons set +3 days, +1 week or +2 weeks.
- Work from “Up next”. Overdue and today's follow-ups are listed first. Tick one off when it is done.
- Update the status as you hear back — interview, offer, rejection or no response — so your list stays an honest picture.
The AI coach
For any application, the coach looks at the job title, company, status, the date you applied, your notes and (if you add it) the job description. It suggests next steps for that stage and drafts a message: a follow-up after applying, a thank-you after an interview, a reply to an offer or a request for feedback after a rejection. The latest advice is saved with the application. It never knows anything you have not told it, so names and details are left as placeholders for you to fill in.

Who can see my applications?
Only you. They are saved to your own Expertini account (and appear in the Expertini app when you sign in there). Employers never see them.
How many AI requests does the coach use?
One per run. The free plan includes 1 AI request a month, Premium 25 and Executive 100. Adding, editing, exporting and printing applications is unlimited on every plan.
What does “Follow-ups due” count?
Open applications (not rejected or withdrawn) whose follow-up date is today or earlier. It is calculated from the dates you entered — nothing else.
I used the old planner. Where are my applications?
They were kept only in your browser. Sign in on the same browser and this page offers to move them to your account in one click; earlier AI analyses come along too.
Can I get my data out?
Yes — “CSV” downloads a spreadsheet of all your applications, and “Print / PDF” opens a printable report you can save as a PDF.
